Maybe I would have done the same but SOMEBODY refused to give me Talia's number when I asked said SOMEBODY for it.

SOMEBODY never asks SOMEBODY for it except on Shabbat, when said SOMEBODY doesn't exactly carry around phone numbers.
By the way- why don't you ask Mother?
